Case-based Discussion Session
«Against the Guidelines – When off-label saves lives… or not»
The session focuses on:
- Off-label or borderline IFU interventions
- Treatments outside clinical guidelines
- Cases with successful but also controversial or problematic outcomes
The aim is to highlight clinical dilemmas and promote meaningful scientific dialogue.
🔹 A total of 8 cases will be presented, preferably by vascular surgery trainees under the supervision of a specialist.
🔹 Selection will be made in order of priority.
🔹 Submission is exclusively online until 31/01/2026.
Illustrative examples:
- EVAR in an aortic neck of 7 mm length
- CAS in an 80-year-old patient with symptomatic carotid stenosis
- Use of thoracic endograft for infrarenal aortic disease
